VOICES OF KENT
Featuring selections from a collaborative oral history project, "Voices of Kent" draws from three dozen interviews conducted in the early 1980s. Many of the narrators were born in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and chronicle life and work in Kent County during the early 20th century. This exhibit couples background information and excerpts from the interviews with the remarkable images taken by local photographer, Tyler Campbell.
Most of these and other interviews are either transcribed or indexed by subject, and are available as digital files. Many of the analog tapes have also been digitized. Contact the Society for more information about accessing transcripts and audio files.
