Frisby House
110 North Water Street

The Frisby House, another one of the Perry sisters' homes, was built ca. 1770 as a townhouse. It is notable for its wide chimneys with interesting cap details, all-header bonding and curvilinear window arches. To accommodate changing living conditions, porches and extensions to the rear have been added. This is the only 18th century house on this side of Water Street indicating that most property owners on the opposite side of the street owned land across from them and used it for barns, storage, etc. The house next door, 108 Water Street, also owned by Perry Sister, was built in the side yard. 106-1/2 Water Street was formerly the stable for the Frisby House. The exterior façade is pleasantly accented by a brick belt course between the first and second floors.
