A Chesapeake Bay Gateways Grant has made possible the enhancement of our web site to allow for online searching of our catalog. We have begun entering our catalog data into our new software program, PastPerfect, purchased through a matching grant from the Hedgelawn Foundation. Please be patient as we undertake this project.

Our library, frequented by researchers from across the United States, contains genealogies, photographs, tombstone records and various other local history resources.
Search our Collection on line
This will be a long term ongoing project and will have limited capabilities in the beginning. Please continue to visit the library or call when looking for information if you do not find it on line.
Research and Research Assistance
There is no charge for visiting researchers to use our library, although donations are always welcome. Copies are 25 cents each.
We will be pleased to look in our genealogies or other materials to see if we have information pertaining to that family name, or subject; there is no charge to simply look up a family name. If you wish us to copy information and send it to you, the fee is a flat $10.00 charge, plus 25 cents per copy; or $2.00 per scanned page emailed to you (of photographs, etc). For members the flat fee is $7.00.
If you wish us to conduct research, we will do so using our library and other local resources, at a charge of $30.00 per search (approximately three hours), plus 25 cents per copy. For members the charge is $20.00 per search.

A mailing fee of $2.00 will be applied for more than 20 copies.
